Die Cutting
|
Die cutting is like using a cookie cutter. A die cutting machine uses steel
rule die shapes to cut through a wide range of materials quickly and easily. This type of cutting offers far greater accuracy than vertical knives, and "inside" cutting that is impossible with other methods.
We have two large traveling head beam presses that we use to replicate the
same perfect shape over and over again. These machines can cut shapes that
are either impractical or impossible to cut with a vertical knife. These
die cut shapes are often used as appliqués.
